Life at First Baptist CHurch Taos New MexicoIt's All About You Youth Worship Conference 08 - It's all about you, God. We spent 2 nights and a Saturday morning learning about what true worship means. Beyond the music and beyond Sunday mornings. It was a great time of hearing new ideas and perspectives as well as being able to experience them. Friday evening included an original song written and performaed by one of the Rezon8 youth.

Taos area youth joined us for this conference that was led by Tim Mezera, a worship leader from Vineyard of Oak Park/Chicago and included percussion and a message from Paul Adelsman, also from VOP.

Saturday morning we hit the park for some fun and worship in the sun!

The Power of One 2007 Youth Rally at First Baptist Church Taos New Mexico Thanksgiving Missions Trip to Juarez 2007 - Thanksgiving 2007 was a wild time for some from FBC Taos. We loaded our van with our pastor & his wife, the youth leader, 3 youth & to adults from our church and connected with FBC Santa Fe for a trip to Juarez, Mexico to server food to thousands in need. This trip was a challange for us all as we ventured into hauling and preparing food across the boarder. Also turned out to be the coldest & biggest snowfall in 15 years!

While out trip was cut short, our group and new friends Leo & Dalio from Glorieta got an unexpected blesing by connecting with a ministry/church near where we were serving in southern Juarez. God blesses us when the weather dosen't!

New Mexico Baptist Convention for the Deaf at First Baptist Church Taos New MexicoNew Mexico Baptist Convention for the Deaf - This convention held October 12-14, 2007 gathered deaf from all over New Mexico for a time of worship, workshops, ministry and fellowship. Rezon8 Youth Group at First Baptist Church Taos New MexicoRezon8 Jr. High & High School group - A message for now that echos a lifetime.
Rezon8 meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:30 where we explore what a real relationship with God means, What that looks like is a different as every member of the group. One thing that is constant is that we put aside religion to listen & pursue what God really has for us. If you are Jr. High or High School age, we'd love to have you!

Take a look at some of the fun over the past few years.
