GPS is here!

First Baptist Church Taos encourages your participation in "God's Plan for Sharing" (GPS). The first phase of GPS will occur leading up to Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010. There will be a special emphasis every two years through 2020. The goal of GPS is "every believer sharing, every person hearing about Christ" by 2020.

This year's campaign will include television commercials, radio ads, billboards, etc. Each participating church will be asked to prayer-walk their community and then distribute clear plastic bags with a simple gospel witness and an invitation to our church's Easter Sunday service. We will be distributing the bags March 13-14 when the college team from Travis Avenue in Fort Worth will arrive. Be in prayer for this event.

REZON8 Youth News

Rezon8 is for Jr. High & High School youth. Even if you're just out of High School we want you to hang with us! We meet from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on Wednesday nights.

It's a new school year & almost a whole new youth group! With that, we're getting back to the basics with a time of discussion about "What's the point?" Why do we believe what we do? This is a time of freedom for all youth. life long church-goers to those seeking, to ask the tough questions. Remeber, we're here for ALL Jr. High & High School youth. Rezon8 is a place for you!

I also want to say how proud I am of the youth in our church in general but to highlight Edwin, JB & Selah who went on our mission trip to Romania. The three of them where fantastic in their hearts for service - even if they felt uncomfortable. Like taking pasrt in worship dance or even Selah wearing a skirt!
