welcome - bun venit
From June 26 to July 7, 2008, a team of 6 from First Baptist Church of Taos, New Mexico went to Timisoara & Severin, Romania to serve and be a part of a revival conference held by Romania for Jesus. The 6 included Pastor James Nickell, Youth Leader Ray Seale, Jessie Marie Maestes, JB Maestes, Edwin Steimling & Selah Schumpelt.
We discovered a great group of people after God's own heart. The warmth and hospitality were shown was amazing. So what what we recieved from God. Enjoy the images we are sharing and as you do, please pray for each of the people you see - that they are free to do all that God has for them.

Trip and Travel
From Taos to Denver to Munich to Timisoara to Severin was quite the journey. Totaling 30 or so hours each way, we made it through long waits, cancelled flights and lost luggage. There were awesome sights to be hold. Here are a few.

Outreach and Service
Our time here was for more than seeing the sights. We were blessed to be a part of outreaches that invited locals to the revival conference along with opportunities for us to pray for folks. There was a little hand on paint brush work top be had too!

Church and Conference
We spent a lot of time with the church and the revival conference. The conference ran from Friday night to Sunday morning. Pastor James gave the conference messages along with our first Sunday service. Ray gave messages on Sunday night and Thursday night with our youth giving testimonies and joining the worship dance team.

Fun and Friends
The richest thing taken from a trip like this is making new friends & getting to know each other. We had days of fellowship as well as seeing the sights. This is where great stories begin.
